 I was asked by one of the fans to do an article on old soul friendships. Why does this happen and how does this affect our relationships with these people? There are numerous old souls that belong to the Fan Page. If we look at our inspirational image we see a lot of people diving into the Hudson River and swimming almost like a team. It is pretty much the same with the old soul connections; they form a team and the friendship simply just work. Long before our births, we’ve decided in conjunction with our Guides and Angels on the following: · When will we come to earth? · For how long will we be here? · Who our parents, family and friends will be? · What lessons are we going to learn? · What age we will get to? All parties involved with the decision making, agree and accept the “contract” terms and conditions. If it was meant that two people should befriend each other it does no matter how late in their lives this will happen. Characteristics of these Connections People become instant friends and these friendships can last a life time. They will often contact each other when support is most needed and the person making the contact is not even aware of the needed support. When old souls do connect for the first time it seems that they are friends for years and can’t stop talking. There is a definite deeper connection than just friends. In these friendships there is a deeper understanding, empathy and love that aren’t common in normal friendships. When these old souls connect it also feels if they’ve known each other all their lives. Should friends work on a project, each party knows what is expected of them and the work is finished in a record time. Soul Stages There are five soul ages for the people that are new to the Fan Page. · Infant · Baby · Young · Mature · Old Furthermore we do on average seven life cycles per soul age before we move on to the next level. It is no co-incidence that we do meet. Why does this happen? These meetings can be personal via the internet. It was decided with the “contract” that we should meet at some stage. Often one of the friends will be the master and give guidance to the other friend. These roles can often be reversed too. In the end this is about the evolvement of the soul and lessons that need to be learned. If we can return to the image all that I can say is dive in and make the best of this friendship.

 Photo Graeme was so kind to take some photo’s of the snow for me. When we started to discuss the photo’s this one stood out with an orb in it. As a child, my grandmother told me about the energy orbs that she saw in her life. Sadly she didn’t understand the phenomena and she couldn’t give me any more details. Apparently there are two types of orbs. Natural Orbs The most common misinterpretation of orbs on film is that of minute airborne particles, commonly dust, water and snow which is picked up on the photographic image normally with the use of a flash. The main reason that no other orbs are seen in previous or subsequent images of the same area is that the particle is at a slightly different position and angle to reflect light back from the flash or other light source. Graeme did not use a flash for this photo. Let us look at the next option. Spiritual Orbs It is believed that they are souls that are represented in the form of balls of light. The spiritual energy of the souls that live on the Astral plain can and has been seen by many people who walk among us. Spiritual orbs normally travel in groups and are thought to be the soul of a human or another life form that once lived on the Earth Plain. They often are caught on film as a bright solid form of light. They are actually quite photogenic if they choose to show themselves for whatever reason. However many spiritual orbs never want to be seen so they stay transparent. Many people find spiritual orbs in their photographs when they had no idea they were even present at the time. It is also believed that a spiritual orb is snake like or has a face in it. Conclusion If we look at the second photo, is it possible that it might be some sort of face? I did mention earlier that a flash was not used for this photo. Personally I think this is a spiritual orb. The yellow colour is very bright and almost lifelike. If anyone has similar photos, please do share them with us.    Experience Mature souls are at the peak of their life cycle, they’ve gone beyond the folly of their youth, and the accumulation of a wealth of experience is behind them allowing these souls to access a deeper understanding of their sub consciousness that is just incomprehensible for their younger soul neighbours. Through constant evaluation of their goals and slight adjustments this can lead to both insights and also some would say psychological difficulties. I guess that like most things it is the angle that you are coming from when you are looking at this. You all know I love to work with an inspirational image and in this one we can see that there’s a lovely yellow and purple water lily flower, it’s not a common sight that you see these lilies in two tone colours. Perhaps, being “mature” might sound a bit on the dull side; but just like lilies they can come up with a few surprises now and again. Understanding A mature soul’s driving force is a need to understand everything around them. As such, they seldom miss anything being very observant allowing themselves to be indulgent in gaining knowledge and wisdom not for education’s sake or to further a career as a young soul does but so that they can develop and grow for themselves. They truly need to understand everything. So where will you see these mature souls? You’ll find them with a good book or attending your local night school taking courses on a range of subjects for their own personal improvement. For these folks, it’s not the grades that count but what they learn from the overall experience. Grades are for those young soul go getters, whereas mature souls are wise to the fact that they are there to value the growth and development. Mature souls are in a searching mode throughout their lives they have to find and express themselves. They are agitated, sensitive and touchy. They are complex and psychologically sensitive, because of this they are often considered neurotic. Mature souls are the soul group that are most likely to seek psychological counselling for their emotional difficulties. Most Psychologists are mature souls themselves. A great deal of psychological challenges surface in their lives and they have to deal with this on a conscious level. Mature souls won’t harm other people but often they can turn their frustrations concerning others in on themselves. Understanding and Care Issues younger souls might find meaningless are very important for mature souls. They look for the larger meaning in life and they want to understand the significance of everything. They want to understand why people do things and they really do care about people and want to help them. Mature souls are evolved in their own consciousness; as such their behaviour is very ethical. They value the feelings and opinions of other people. It hurts them if people don’t think well of them and they are often detached from their sense of social obligation. Care for People Emotions, knowledge and relationships are their primary concern in life. When mature souls become employers they do regard the well being of the individual to be more important than that of the well being of the company. Mature souls are always interested to learn more and they want to perceive themselves as informed individuals. They always seek answers to the big questions in life. This often means involvement in psychology, religion and psychic matters. Mature souls are very touchy when they deal with other people and are easily upset by the vibrations if they are not on the same level. Mature souls need a sanctuary to shield them from psychological stress. It might be a place of a friend. Mature souls are relationship orientated and they seek like minded companions. They build their lives around social contacts and often have a spouse for a lifetime. Humour Mature souls have a highly developed sense of humour and they laugh easily. The humour they prefer is “situation comedy” involving social relationships. They love to tease and joke with friends but this is rarely hostile or denigrating. Mature souls are very involved in world affairs; they have a need for a refuge place like a cabin at the lake. They have very little need for material things or a second home, like the younger souls do. The Mature soul prefers liberal churches rather than the mainstream churches. Mature souls have a strong sense of morality and ethics, these disgust younger souls. With politics, the Mature soul is left-wing almost to the point of socialistic. The hippie era in the 1960’s was a mature soul phenomenon. Mature souls are very reluctant to fight in wars and they tend to be pacifistic and not militant. They love their freedom but would rather submit to domination then fight for freedom. Reforms Mature souls often campaign for the reforms in society. They form the environmentalist movement, the antinuclear energy movement and other such movements to improve the world groups. They believe the planet is worth the trouble to make it a better place. If we return to our inspirational image we can see the two bees are collecting nectar. We all know bees are very hard workers. I guess that in reflection if we compare the bees to mature souls, they are working hard for their hive, for the wellbeing of the group but always ready to share that bit of sweet extra with others. It is that sweet taste that makes the world a better place.   Death Of The Old Working with the Spirit world can often be full of surprises but always rewarding I think. Recently, I had a sudden surprise, I knew I had to move on and sell my home but I think that I had got used to my comfort zone and had not got round to doing this. You know that I love to work with our inspirational images and for me this one is giving out the cold, dark and a gloomy night. Yet one thing that night always promises us is that morning is just around the corner and for me my morning burst was that it was time for me to move on and get out of my comfort zone and relocate to Kempton Park which is a district of Johannesburg. Options When considering the next move, I had three options, to continue my Psychic work in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town. You know what folks; I have always promised myself that I would never stay in Johannesburg due to the traffic yet I came to realise that I had to overcome this as it was my best option for my own personal growth and to tackle this inner resistance head on. Sometimes I guess that we have to go to what we don’t like the most to know what is best for us. I knew that this was my best option as there are more than enough people there to allow me to continue my work not just for me but also for the people that need me too. You know, since I announced that I am relocating to the new place I have been inundated with enquiries and clients that are keen to meet me. Second Time Around I have spoken many times before about cycles and I am not immune to them either! For me, this is the second time around that my work position has changed. The first time I started concentrating on my Psychic work, I built up a good client base but life took a turn for me and I got side traced by a job that seemed at the time too good to turn down. Nevertheless, what was different this time than before was that I continued my career and carried on with the sixth senser work part-time. I think that the recent note of “034. Old Souls” was a bit of a turning point for me and proves that when you are challenged you can learn too. As such, it made me realise that I no longer have the energy to keep up with other people in a “Young soul corporate world”, but my strength and joy is to continue my work full time as a psychic. It is like fulfilling a long lost part of me. Coincidence? In a way, why Graeme and I started the fan page was at the start a bit of a mystery to me. We had no idea if this would be of interest to people and where this would go if anywhere! I think neither of us had an idea where this was going to lead to. Before we embarked on the process we discussed and still do discuss the output that we give in detail. So the fan page was born and created over night and started to work on the notes. We have come a long way and now have a plan and a direction for this year and an example of this is the “Soul Series” we are now doing. Today if I look back, I can see that our work is very well documented on the internet and thanks to you guys out there the great reviews that you have posted really help as brilliant testimonials of my work and I can only thank you again for all your input which makes this such an active and interesting place to be. Beginning Of The New I titled this note...Death of the Old and Beginning of the New.... and this time for me, I’m following the advice of my guides....leaving the old ways behind that have held me back and embracing a new and exciting future which will be my psychic work full time. I’m sure that I’ve a lot to learn, that many people will be teaching me many interesting and new things on the way but also I do think that I am here to make a difference in a lot of people’s lives. I feel very blessed that both Graeme and I have been able to connect with many of you folk out there and I know that the interconnecting relationships between us have also helped many people too. So this is not always about me I guess what I am saying but the fact that I merely facilitate to help you with your own inner inspiration. Finally, if we have another peek at our inspirational image again I am reminded that it is not only night but winter too. When the green shoots come up from the soil bursting through it’s all too easy to forget that it was so cold. I guess that it’s the same for me too that, now my spring has arrived. It is time now for me continue to do what I do best, carry on with my soul work and be your guide for you too if you need it. So then like the cycles...beginnings are endings and endings are beginnings..... 
 Blending In This is a first for us as we’re dedicating this article to Lisa Reimer Riley; she was the inspiration to do this note and believe you me she keeps us on our toes with her questions! For this we’d like to thank her very much and do keep them coming! So what’s it all about? I’m sure that you’ve heard people talk about souls in particular ‘old souls’ but what you might not know is that there are there are five soul stages:
I am sure that you have heard of the phrase ages and stages and in a way souls are not that much different. So let’s break this down in to easy bites:
I love to see the way that the seagulls are flying in our image; they’re floating on the wind just doing their own thing. I guess that it is very much the same for old souls; they blend in and seem that they don’t contribute much in society; following the rules so that they blend in, preventing unnecessary attention. I would say that seldom do old souls have a problem with self esteem but an inner knowing of following their own unique motto.... “if you like me fine, if you don’t so what”. From an external perspective they might seem that they are often out of place with the rest of the population, but this is only because they see things differently with a more mature and knowing attitude. It has been estimated that about eleven percent of the population are old souls. Karmic Attachment Some people feel that old souls can very often loners; they do their own thing and aren’t much bothered by the social norms. I wonder what you think. They also have very little interest in casual relationships with other people in their surroundings. Curiosity and gossiping are almost not existent; they simply don’t have the energy to waste on this. I know that I said that they can be loners but this doesn’t mean that old souls can’t have deep and meaning full relationships, but it’s just more likely that they’ll be with each other not only in one lifetime but through several. I think that old souls find young souls selfish, irresponsible and unattractive. When old souls befriend other people, for the most part it will be with other old souls, allowing them to form bonds between them very quickly. These bonds often last a lifetime as the interests of these souls are very much the same. Young souls are here to create business relations, whilst mature souls are the ones that connect us for our psychological comfort. In general, old souls have a tendency to only create unions with other old souls that they have shared unions with in their past lives. So often, old souls are misunderstood and any younger souls might think they don’t care; the older soul keeping their distance. A good example of this would be with a petition, the old soul will sign it but they will not march with the rest of the protestors. Easy Way Out? I think that a lifetime of experience has allowed old souls to find the easy way to do things; younger souls may see this as laziness and a lack of drive but you know this does have its advantages and its disadvantages because they don’t always follow protocol. Old souls have a gracious manner in dealing with other souls; as such they do tend to understand every type souls better than younger ones. They’re often the ones that have the innovative ideas for doing things but seldom go through this activity as they’ve already done this in the past. One common feature I feel that they all have is an ability to analyse lazy behaviour within them and either prevent this from happening or work through it. Ethical In general, old souls have strong ethical boundaries it’s not for them to be taught by society what is right and what is wrong. This is inborn with them, even as children they seem very grown up. So often I hear old souls say that they feel older than what they really are and it is not uncommon for them to say that they will not return to earth again. They also prefer detachment to people and this is the reason they are not jealous, envious or possessive. Further Education Like with everything else in life they are very casual with obtaining further education. As such, grades are not paramount to them they are only going for the qualification to satisfy the needs of others. Learning is not important to them unless they have a specific goal in mind. If we return to our inspirational image we can see the other Brighton West Pier in the background. It’s quite a distance from the Brighton Palace Pier but its there. The old souls have a goal in life, how they achieve that goal can often surprise younger souls out there, they get there on their own time and own pace. I suppose like our birds they seem part and parcel of our every day, co-existing in nature and try not to focus attention on them self. Yet without them on the wing we would lack that sense of innate knowledge and gentle guidance to the next level. So the final question is has this helped you to find which you soul you relate to more?   ETHICS I often wonder what guide of ethics psychics follow when working with clients. I always stress to clients that psychic work is very ethical and once you abuse your powers, you will lose them. Some other psychics differ with me that people will lose their powers but I have seen how these psychics’ abilities deteriorate. If we look at the inspirational image and I see the time it makes me often think of people that are late for appointments, which in my eyes are plain bad manners. And working with clients no bad manners are tolerated from the guides. As a psychic you are also not allowed to interfere in clients lives except when the clients give you permission. HERE ARE THE GUIDELINES I FOLLOW WITH CLIENTS:
My advices to any client are, should you feel that a psychic is not ethical, get out of there as fast as you can.   Fortunate? I had always wanted an African Grey parrot, because they speak “so well”. The day that I bought her, I was advised to take a female because somehow they work better with the opposite sex. Fortunately, I was lucky that I was blessed with a very good speaker! Natasha my parrot starts at 04:30 in the morning and continues to talk until 20:00 at night, nonstop! She definitely drives me crazy sometimes. First Word It is scientifically proven that the African Grey can actually have a conversation. The average word count that they can speak is around 1800 words and they can live up to 80 years and more in captivity. Although with their words, they can be choice at times! For example, Natasha was not very fond of a friend of mine. When he put his hand out for her to climb on to, she said f**k off and she refused to climb on his hand. I can assure you that this is not something that I taught her! Rainbow I was advised to get another parrot to keep her company and felt that a Senegal parrot would be the best choice as they’re true parrots who can also talk too. I named him Rainbow because of his colouring, however unlike Natasha he was tamed as an adult bird and not hand reared. Natasha told Rainbow one day “come and scratch my head”. He didn’t understand her and as such didn’t respond. She asked him a second time, after no response she looked him straight in the eye told him “f**k you”! Poor Rainbow! Psychic Animals As a medium, I’m used to souls around me at all times. So I have to say that it did come as a complete surprise when I realised that Natasha could also not only see souls but speak to them as well. At the last count, I think that Natasha has about fourteen spirit friends of which her favourite seems to be someone called Ilse. The latest addition to her growing ‘family’ is Kokkie. Her ability to speak English is all the more remarkable when you realise that the first language of the house is not English but Afrikaans. So from what she has said, I understand that she has learnt her English from a spirit friend called John. Seems that he didn’t hold back when it came to teaching her some choice swear words! Lately, there’s been a new development where Natasha has been starting to mix both Afrikaans and English into a sentence, all the more remarkable is that provided that you understand both languages it makes complete sense. Here is an example of something that she might say....."Wat maak jy, you are irritating me." (What are you doing, you are irritating me) People that know me well can testify that I can be a very fast talking in any language, however Natasha can beat me hands down as she uses four voices of which one of them is so fast that not even I can follow her conversation! The strangest thing Natasha said was “Let me take you to the loo although I only have one or two drops”. The thing that fascinates me about this is that she is relaying the information from one of her spirit friends. The word “loo” is not a common word that I would use either, especially as it is not a South African word more British than anything. Natasha can be a terrible gossip all day about her spirit chums and this is the reason that she talks all day from dawn to dusk. Lately she has been talking about the sandman which is something that is usually only used around small children. I don’t have children myself and have never mentioned this to her. I am sure that you would agree that she is very unique, a friend of mine who also has raised numerous parrots in his life said that even for him she is a bit of a scary bird with the information that she has given out. Troubled Souls At times, I can have troubled souls around me. I think that Natasha too has also picked up on this and often she acts in a nervous way which also confirms for me that they are around. Remember that I said that she loves to gossip! Well one thing I’ve learnt that having Natasha around she is guaranteed to repeat things. Her latest favourite English bit is “Hello Graeme, how are you? Ok Ok bye-bye”. Now I will hold my hand up to that one and say that I do say that on a regular basis but just goes to show you, you never know what your pets are picking up on and in my case gossiping back! I’d love to hear from other fans that are pet owners and hear their experiences perhaps psychic or not. I just hope that yours are perhaps not so choice and vocal with their words! Yes she might drive me crazy but I wouldn’t be without her.   Alone this Christmas? A friend once made the statement... “You can be very lonely when you’re surrounded by people”. I hope all of us will be surrounded by people we love and have a wonderful festive time. Let’s check out our image and ponder, we can see that the fruit is ripe and ready for the harvest. I guess that if I look back now, the time was ripe for me to have started the facebook fan page nine months ago and doesn’t time fly! I never thought that I’d start programming again (that seemed to be the last thing that I wanted to do!) but between the two of us we’re running four websites which are always a challenge. I’d like thank you for all your questions, photos and ideas for the notes, which have been inspirational not only for me but for other readers too. I can tell you that it’s been great for me and a few of you out there have definitely kept me on my toes with the questions and comments and well that can be no bad thing. So do keep them coming! There are too many fans that kept me busy to mention all the names; however I’d like to make an exception and thank Dorel for her continues support and friendship which is most valued. Notes So, what next? We have a few unpublished notes in store for you guys and will publish them in the New Year. Winter Solstice I am aware that you guys in the Northern Hemisphere are leaving the house when it is dark, and return home from work after dark. Not even to mention the cold, it seems it is the coldest winter in decades such a contrast from us Southern Hemisphere types! For me, it is summer, ripe with sunshine and fruit, so perhaps on reflection we’re not so different after all. Seasons and reasons, the cold will soon go away and summer will return for the Northern folk, and you guys are just trapped in the cold part of the cycle and we have that joy to look forward too. It just remains for me to say that be it on the beach or by a warming fire, I’m sending you love, flowing energy and hope for you and yours for the festive season and beyond. 
 The Question The question always remains, what happens when we die? There are numerous books on this subject and they rarely have the same information in them, this can actually cause more confusion. I will share the knowledge that I have with you. Like always this is my own personal view. Direction Like me, I guess that not all of you are familiar with the Brighton surroundings that you can see our image. We’re not sure, if these people are going back to the beach or are they walking further along the pier to the sea? Which direction are they taking? Unlike with our own personal transitions, we can go only one way and this is forward. Transition When we “awake” after our death, we are surrounded by our Guardian Angels and known family to assist and comfort us, if we should need it. Souls in general stay on the Earth Plain until the funeral is over with. The Guardian Angels then assist the soul to the “Hospital Facility” where the souls are nursed back their original state. Why the “Hospital Facility”, I am sure you’re asking? Death is a traumatic event for the soul and some of the lessons we might have learned on the Earth Plain might not always have been pleasant. When we are ready, as souls we can move over to the next level. Planning Souls go into a resting period. It seems these resting periods may be ten times the life span the soul had, as such it can be up to a 1500 years. There are some exceptions. It is believed that people who have committed suicide return immediately. It seems that children that died young may also return quicker. In this resting period, this is where our next life is planned. Cycle Let’s check out the image again, people are walking on the pier to a direction. They have a goal in mind even though we as on lookers can’t tell from the image. The same is going to happen with all of us. We can look at others but for each and every one of us there is a clear direction even at times we can’t see it for ourselves. For many of us, death can be fearful time. Sadly, this is something we may have experienced numerous times in our own existence with loved ones but also let us not forget that this is a necessary process that we as souls have to go through so that we can face our new journey again be that beach or sea. Perhaps next time the direction might be the sea rather than the beach. Happy strolling my dear friends!   Death Death is a very emotive word for many of us, yet in an uncertain world it is the one certainty that we all have. A strange paradox given that it seems to be the end. How many of us can actually remember the joy of being born? I would say that it was very few of us. So let’s think about our childhood or perhaps we have children and those carefree times that they or we have experienced. As with the rest of our lives our guardian angels are there to watch over us but in this phase of our lives they are working with the Astral plain to help us evolve our souls. Even whilst these days seem carefree and playing we are still learning and progressing towards our soul’s journey with the astral plain. Sadly, I often have had clients that ask me what happens when a child dies. I know that this is never an easy thing to accept, however, the pointers below are the way that I see it. Why? Long before our births, we have decided in conjunction with our Guides and Angels on the following:

The minute all our goals are achieved and our lessons are learnt, nothing prevents us to move to the Astral Plain. You might think that the image that I have used for this article is perhaps a bit unusual considering the subject matter, but let us check it out. It is round, made of glass and is precious, but at the same time it has strength. That strength comes from each panel and within each of these there are different shades and hues. All moving to a central position. Yet again the paradox is that we see this in a two dimensional view, yet to experience the real view we must step outside and see that it really is rising to the top in a dome form. So I guess that I am saying that from the astral plane we are looking at this from outside/in and when we are in it we are looking up – inside/out. What Now? Our Guides and Guardian Angels are always with us – perhaps you could say that they are the architects’ of our life plan. They are waiting for us; the minute we die, they are there to assist us with our journey to the Astral Plain. They may have made some good designs for us but it is the individual that builds the way forward. Parents will often challenge me with “but the child was only a few months old”, very true. We should keep it in mind, that it is an evolved soul that was trapped in a human child body. Not the other way around, the brief time that they may have been with us might have made the most impact or in some cases changed beliefs forever. Transition We should understand that this soul’s journey on the Earth Plain is complete. It was their decision to stay for this short period of time. Although, like our image, the light, colour and wonder that they gave can stay with us for a life time. Each segment is like an angel’s wing holding it together. This will be same for all of us once we die. Our angels and guardians will keep us safe and comfort us. We will never be alone. Finally, I feel that I can reassure these parents that their child is safe, well cared for and happy to complete their transition. The child is going on with his existence and sadly the parents will have to do the same. I have a great deal of empathy with the parents. I understand their loss, but sadly this is all part of their “contract” that they agreed to with their “architects”. So a final glimpse at our image, I would say that you are working with your astral architects, agreeing the designs but there is always room for some tweaking along the way when you are building, after all we all want to shine with a bright light and show our creative flair don’t we?  |
