 When we look at our inspirational image we might think that there is something sinister out there - who knows?
When there is something wrong in our environments, there are signs that indicate that to us. Here are a few things that can happen: Temperature Changes Hot and cold spots are very prominent if you experience sudden temperature changes that are not weather related. Smells And Odours Unexplained bad smells like rot and mildew when there is no logical explanation for these odours. Smelling smoke or perfume when nobody uses the particular brands or smoke in the environment. Electrical Issues Where appliances switch on and off when nobody is using them. Light bulbs that might blow up. Television set that goes on and off. Mood Swings When tempers suddenly flare up, esp. if that’s something that normally never happens. People can also get emotionally cold. Noises Hearing voices, whispers and scratches. Disappearance Of Objects Disappearance and re-emergence of objects. Things that disappear out of handbags etc. Don’t be surprised if glassware such as oven dishes fall out of cupboards and break. Pets If your pets get nervous for no reason, or if they avoid certain rooms in your environment. I have a hand reared African Grey Parrot, Natasha, that could not stop calling an “Ilse”. I never had a person in my home with that name. This went on for quite a while till I did a house cleansing. This was a very good indication for me that there was a “guest” in my home, unlike the inspirational image where we don’t know if something is going on there or not. We now have an idea of what to look out for in our home environments and do a cleansing if needed to.

 It’s been a while since we had a fun note on the page and have decided to do three ghost stories. I do find the ghost stories fascinating and have been to various “Ghost Locations”, sadly when I’m invited to the locations its always to neutralise the ghost activity. When I get to the locations the ghosts, it seems to me, are always away on a quick vacation. I’ve decided to do the story on Lord Combermere and by coincidence when I showed Graeme the note. He informed me that there where arrests made for child pornography at the location on the specific day. This photograph of the Combermere Abbey library was taken in 1891 by Sybell Corbet. The figure of a man can faintly be seen sitting in the chair to the left. His head, collar and right arm on the armrest are clearly discernable. It is believed to be the ghost of Lord Combermere. Lord Combermere was a British cavalry commander in the early 1800s, who distinguished himself in several military campaigns. Combermere Abbey, located in Cheshire, England, was founded by Benedictine monks in 1133. In 1540, King Henry VII kicked out the Benedictines, and the Abbey later became the Seat of Sir George Cotton KT, Vice Chamberlain to the household of Prince Edward, son of Henry VIII. In 1814, Sir Stapleton Cotton, a descendent of Sir George, took the title "Lord Combermere" and in 1817 became the Governor of Barbados. Today the Abbey is a tourist attraction and hotel. Lord Combermere died in 1891, having been struck and killed by a horse-drawn carriage. At the time Sybell Corbet took the above photo, Combermere's funeral was taking place some four miles away. The photographic exposure, Corbet recorded, took about an hour. It is thought by some that during that time a servant might have come into the room and sat briefly in the chair, creating the transparent image. This idea was refuted by members of the household, however, testifying that all were attending Lord Combermere's funeral. Lord Combermere was also involved in another documented paranormal incident, we will keep this for a next note. (http://paranormal.about.com/od/ghostphotos/ig/Best-Ghost-Photos/Lord-Combermere.-04z.htm)   Last Monday morning, I had a brief call from a client, where he gave me the following information: · There were three spirits in the house · A girl more or less six years olds · A nurse and a very tall dark haired man As you can see, in this image there are people waiting on the platform who need to wait a bit longer and those are more in transit. I guess that it is the same for these three spirits too. They have missed their train and need a guiding hand, a map or some directions for the next platform. Perhaps some people might find this difficult to believe but my client has an 18 month old girl that communicates with these spirits. Children often have imaginary friends but my client felt that this went beyond this. So you can imagine, this can be difficult for any parent to take onboard. Therefore, we made an appointment for the next day to discuss this. Pre-Client Session Before meetings, I often work with other sixth sensers (in strict confidentiality) such as my Cariad (a sort of supervision session for sensers) to see what they pick up on regarding the entities and compare notes. Our pre-client session allowed us to have the following enlightenments: · The girl was approximately six years old with blond to ginger hair. She had a knee height white dress on with lace at the bottom seam of the dress and around her neck. · The nurse was a very tall person who seemed to be introverted, and seemed to swing from being kind to stern. She was wearing an army uniform which had a red cross over her chest and a nurse cap on her head. · There was a very tall man who was used to authority and only spoke once. The details on him were very vague for the both of us. The Cleansing Next day, at the client’s place, after meeting them, I was taken through their rooms, but on this occasion I was not able to locate any of the spirits. This is not unusual as often they hide or are not around when I am there. Nevertheless, my client did give me the following information: · He had been challenged by the man who was everywhere in the house and refused to give them privacy in the bathroom. · At one stage the nurse gave the older girl a glass of water when she was sick, which really traumatised the girl. For a spirit to be able to this, she had to have been very evolved. However, I have to confess that the following didn’t make sense to me: My Cariad and I researched on the internet different nurse’s uniforms that were used for the last 110 years in various wars. We could not locate her particular one. My only conclusion is that she was very much older. Even more interesting is that the house the client lives in can’t be older than 40 years. And there are no graves in that area too. I guess my question remains.... “Why were they in that house?” I completed the home cleansing the same day (Tuesday). By Thursday, my client had confirmed that their home was once again peaceful so that they could live there again. (Check out his feedback on the review tab) Thinking about our image again, I guess that you could say that the spirits had found the right train this time and decided to make their own personal journey onwards from the waiting platform.  |
